What are Finance Products?
Finance Products are products and services offered by the dealership to protect you, your motorcycle, and your credit. They also provide a way of spreading out the cost and liabilities that go along with the ownership of any motor vehicle, in this case, your motorcycle. These products and services will vary from dealership to dealership. Some may choose to offer them all, while others may only offer a few of them. Also, the quality of these products and services will vary from dealership to dealership, so make sure the Finance Manager explains the products that their dealership offers.
In this section, I will review each of the products and explain what they do. I will go into the pros and cons of each, and give you enough information to make an educated decision about your protection options.
It should be noted that the dealership cannot make any of these a requirement for you to receive financing. The Lender can require anything they need from you, but the dealership cannot.
